I've noticed that the decent women and the classless ones are not easily distinguishable these days.
For example, I work for a reputable company in the city and one of my coworkers brought a picture of herself to work on Friday and caused a commotion with passing it around. She claimed that her intention was not to let others outside of the group see it, but with the way she been acting lately, I don't even believe her. This woman is 6 months pregnant and took a naked picture of herself and passed it around. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]
Then you have some women who will just conduct themselves like they grew up in a barn. What is going on? Is it MTV, BET, Passa Passa or what? Where is the dignity, shame and descency?
I am surprised to see men who would otherwise take cover, come out and egg these women on, even on the dance floor. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]
Do the people here who consider themselves a cut above, mentor any youngsters? Why not? I plan to take responsibility at work and try and pull up a few of the younger ones. They need us.
Many young women even on this site need the older more dignified people here to take them under their wings and guide them a little. The out of control behavior demonstrated here sometimes makes me wonder if is Jamaica these people really come from and if they think they are uplifing the name of Jamaica by their actions.
Teach us true respect for all is what I use to sing in school and the pride we had then, is long gone, it seems.
How do we turn this thing around? It is just getting from bad to worse man. Plenty of the women here are taking this thing for a joke, but they are really crying out for help in just about every post they enter and it is really sad.
I won't be posting much so you all can lafff and fling glass backle as much as you like. Just see if you can control yourself long enough to respond and not react.
