ok...i came darn close to losing mine on a convention weekend in NH with my kappa women.

they were twirling around my finger...and i didn't feel to wear them...so i took them off and put them in my pants pocket. When i went to bed that night...i layed my pants over the chair and the rings fell to the floor.

next day, we checked out of the hotel and just as we were getting in the car to head home...i suddenly felt naked and realized i did not have my rings on. ran back into the room and found them on the floor.

now my engagement ring is not at all fancy...and far from a rock...but my wedding ring was my mother's wedding ring. I'd feel awful if i lost them...not because they're valuable, but because of their meaning.

thank god i realized they were missing before i headed home....i'd have HATED to explain why they weren't on my finger all weekend. even if it was purely innocent....

Fi shame, Skelly. Fi shame. Mi wudda neva let yuh live dat dung enoh. If wi was marrid, mi wudda tell di great gran kids how granma lose di 6.24 carat ring yuhsi.

No I don't think he's worried about anything going up...and I prefer not to wear rings period unless I am leaving the house...they get caught in things too often and sometimes scratches the baby or myself..

I can definately understand losing a ring that was passed down...that holds more sentimental value to me..

Dont talk about losing wedding rings to me,....I got in a row wid de wife and in a temper took the ring off and dash it in the back garden....later on when I went searching for it amongst the brambles something pricked me in the eye,I couldnt see for a week,I had to go to the hospital,..still havent found the damn ring,its 10 years now and I bought a different one...unknowing to wifey..Lol,.....mi yeye still act up now and again.

Mi haffi admit dat back wen mi was marrid mi leff mi ring pan a batroom sink counter wan time wen mi took it awf tuh wash off some spilled soda. Mi was already inna di cyar wen mi notice di ring was naat pan mi finga and jrive back tuh di building. It was still deh wen mi look feet.
