People put far too much importance on the wedding day being &quot;the happiest day of your life&quot;....its all nonsense ofcourse,...while I agree it shouldnt be an unhappy one I can think of far more happier events.

Marriages arent like they`re depicted in fairy tale books where the happy couple strides off in the sunset and live happy ever after,......nowadays they are more likely to have been living together,or have a couple brats,with a mortgage around their necks,..or they are signing a pre-nuptial so the other party cant get any money when they break up.

Happiest day my butt,...with the way things are now the wedding day should be a day of mourning,.....with the couple`s respective families tugging at their sleeves and pleading for them not to do it,...the bridegroom`s friends and family should get the prettiest and sexiest girl they can find and get her to parade up and down the church naked,to remind the guy what he`s gonna miss.........then they should all club together and get a decent size BOB for the woman and send her on her way with a bit of money in her pocket,.....thats what keeps women happy after all.

The only true happiness in marriage is if the man can still continue to do what he was doing before he met her ...with the wife`s consent,..thats happiness.
