Thats gonna be between the individual couple... I would imagine that in such a scenario the couple would work on a percentage basis.

It doesn't say to join assests. It says they should work together and have a full understanding of how much the other has. You can do that with 1, 2, or 3 accounts. </div></div>

you see... i think having access to ALL monies is helpful.
what if this man is a spendriff, and 10 years down the line things dont work out. unu going troo divorce and you affi share YOUR money in half after saving all this time. how would you handle it?

dere should be one joint checkin, one joint savings....an individually aggreed amout to be deposited in both...once you made you contribution to the house, and the future, whatever ou do with the rest is your bizzness and whatever I do with mines is your bizniss....this way we NEVER EVER have to have that &quot;this is wat you took MY mone to do&quot; argument...

This is what I anticipated from the article...which is what I <span style="font-weight: bold">violently disagree with</span>.

Too many mistakes have been made and the cause of too many failed marriages for people to still use that &quot;trust&quot; logic.
