so me buddy at work has had quite a lot going on in the last several months..sister passed away quite unexpectedly while recovering from a hosptital procedure, best friend dead from cancer, ex dead from cancer (im neva tell har im sick), she sellin har house and she buying in and moving to a next state..

she's feeling rather pressured and feels the company is not giving har a break. In an email to our manager (im ask har fe tek awn a next account) she asked im fe bear in mind that she's been/is going through a lot in her personal life. Is not the fuss time she sey summen like dat to him.

Oonu tink dat was an acceptable request based on all she has going on?

Mi kinna old school an don't belive in bringing personal issues into the workplace. If she can't hack it she should take a LOA or some STD/LTD (unno have dem tings in USA?)

Yes shi have nuff tings fi deal wid but if it affecting her job shi needs to step away.....

her to her our boss fe &quot;tek it easy wid har&quot; and believe me the overall work enviroment is very stress free..she work mostly from home and more times dan nat when me call har she on the road fe some personal errand..nu baddy nu really badda yu as long as yu get yu work done and give dem dem likkle reports..

I agree with you on the personal issues.

exactly..me seh me had to buss out a laff when she read wha im seh...

me wanda if she did feget seh de man fadda dead just as im took over our team and im neva seh a wud to any badda..took is time off hangled is business an came back to work w/o missing a beat

Sorry about her challenges ...but...no...it's not okay to mix her personal issues with her business demands. No, not at all...if she can help it.
