She gets a text message 'I have to talk to you'
No need for her to reply, she knows what he wants to talk about. Things have been trailing off for a couple of weeks now, she has seen this coming.
About one hour later she is at her desk, the phone rings. (No caller ID at work). She works in the security department, part of her job is to issue security badges for new employees. She has a couple of new employees in her office waiting for badges, she decides to answer the phone.
Him: hey did you get my text message
Her: yes I did, I know what it is about, but this is not a good time, I have people in my office
Him: I really need to talk to you, its important
Her: Its Ok, I know what this is about, but I have a meeting going now, I'll call you once its done.
Him: I have to talk to you now, this can't wait.
He breaks it off, he is going back with his ex. He is sorry, but they decided to give it another try and he wanted to be honest with her.
Her: Well good luck with that, I wish you all the best. I have to get back to the people in my office. Good bye, take care.
Then she has to put on a big smile and continue working....afterall these are new employees.
