Despite a videotaped, Web-posted apology, Yung Berg appears to be suffering backlash from recent comments he made about dark-skinned women. He offered what appeared to be heartfelt regrets for saying, among other things, “I don’t do dark butts,” in an interview a few weeks back. Berg even went on to explain that his mother is dark — and so were the lights at a recent promo appearance. Berg’s turnout was only about 10 people at the D.C. Platinum Club, according to Web reports. Even with heavy radio advertisement of the event, the club shut down so early that a few stragglers were turned away before the scheduled 1 a.m. close. Is Berg getting what he deserves?

I heard about some diss weh young berg dis black women...see de likkle article deh.

now my question is..whats wrong with not liking who you are?
If I am black and say I dont like black female..does that mean I am dissing my mother?

Rapper Young Berg was recently on the radio talking about how dark skinned girls are ugly. He also goes on to say how he won't date anyone darker than him. In the interview, Berg says "he's kinda racist" and than proceeds to call dark-skinned women "dark butts". Berg goes on to describe what he calls "pool test".

ETA : there is an audio tape that i couldnt be bothered to listen to.

yes, you don't have a choice in how you were born, but that is who you are. Everything about you, is what make you, you. Of course there things you can change, but you can't chance being born black and when it comes down to the &quot;skin&quot; of things if you can't accept who you are, especially your color, it's self hate. Is that something to be proud of? I don't know.

He not the only one who feels that way, look at the videos, media etc. He may have opened up his mouth in saying it, just turn on the TV and see the same thing being said mentally and physically.
