Man, I just wrote an essay on my my feelings & somehow, it got f-ked up...I'm talking about having an awareness as to where all these"ideals" come from...is it not the media, who has programmed all of us Americans to think that there is "one" ideal beauty and in order to achieve that "ideal", we have to buy numerous hair products, skin products, lose weight products, stay young products, etc....IT'S A $$$$$ TING!!!....it's what keeps America's economy running!!!....make everyone feel that they are physically inadequet in some way and sell them a product to make them the "American Dream Girl"...tink pon ie!

Oh please. I don't see anything wrong with someone sharing their experience in finding love. Just because it is not the &quot;black&quot; experience, is that why she should shutup? Please.

Some people are too sensitive (and are actually projecting) when they hear stories that get them hot under the collar. Those who love fly up when others talk about non-traditional subjects should spend the time figuring out why it makes them so upset. It can't just be because a stranger is sharing their story on the internet. It must be more than that. Let the woman share her joy, there is enough negativity out there when it comes to relationships whether same race or not.

Some of you really need to LIGHTEN UP.

LOL, you'd be surprised to know how many DO view their blog as their personal diary. They are like modern day autobiographies on a day-by-day, which is what attracts many people to these sites. I like reading them, as they are so raw, personal and real. I've even added my two cents to a few.

I question though how far we have come as a people when so many still feel the need to rationalize their choice. It must be a [femaledog] to have to live with a guilt of choice which would not cause anyone any harm. Very similar to same sex arrangements. It does bring out a level of emotion that is sometimes shocking...causing many to stay hidden.

I dunno. I find it a bit sad, not only for the writer, but for people who vehemently oppose such unions, (and WE ALL KNOW that many do) and would rather people not share this type of stuff.

Would there not be questions, anger, reactions if there were no such blogs? I doubt it.

Of course there are some, but they are in the minority, a <span style="font-weight: bold">tiny</span> minority.
