As of this date, we only have one gay co-worker. I mention this because our gay co-workers are usually the butt of so many jokes.
Our East Asian co-workers think nothing of calling the gay co-workers names and making suggestive comments, even going so far as to prod with broom handles or make sly grabs.
No, the gay co-workers will not complain to anyone about this treatment.
And I always figured that if they couldn't stand up for themselves, then I aint got the time either.
But now there is only one who's obviously out of the closet left. And somehow I feel sorta protective of him. At least, I <span style="text-decoration: underline">used to</span> feel protective of him...
I would speak up and tell them to stop. I told them it's against the law. If they didn't quit I would report them and they would lose their jobs etc...
I spoke up for him when he wasn't speaking up for himself.
Yet this bleephole turned around and tried to get me in ish with our boss. I was stunned. I have no explanation as to the flip and the back stab.
Our boss is going away for a week starting Monday. I overheard the bleephole complaining to him how *I* make his life and his work difficult and how he just doesn't know how he's going to cope when they leave and I'm left incharge...
bloody hell...
I still don't understand where all this is coming from... but I do know that he's made a huge mistake. HUGE!
