Dating scams people are this desperate?

I didn't know they had an actual site to out them.


She's suppose to be Irish


Feeling of a scam is just so strong that I didn't think about that.
I have an email and it's quite obvious what's the name of the game, no problem.
Immediately "she" wanted personal email and - phonenumber.
She should be a white irish from Dublin but "her" english is straight from Ghana. I found her from AdultFriendFinder. There are 95% scams nowadays. Nickname "lesliereal" is also very nice - real persons don't need to say that.
And usually people tell about themselves in first letter, she said very little. And...! First picture was a sex photo with stayups, lol!! A good irish girl would not do that.
Ok, I try to remember that rule. Here example of this "irish" letter:

My scam is still live. Anyone with advice on how to proceed is welcome to post here or email me.

The photos that have been used are those of Francica (see Found Scammer Ghana, Nigeria posted by janelaine, Nov 21). The girl's name used with me is Al Shaibu. Two further images attached below (I hope).

The scammers are apparently in Accra, Ghana. That is where I have been sending money by WU. I have been in almost daily Messenger contact with 'the young lady' for 2 1/2 months. The total cost has been about ?2000 that I can ill afford.

This has involved 6 month visa, innoculations, return air ticket, ?500 non-dependency cash to declare at immigration; and the surprising addition two weeks ago of shipping 3 gold bars donated by the Ashanti grandmother for a new life in London! I only paid ?500 registration for that not the full shipping costs! I fell for it all.

When she didn't arrive at the airport in London on Wednesday I finally got my brain back.

The latest email contact: - she left her travel documents in a taxi on the way to Accra airport. They have now been returned and she wants my advice via Messenger on what to do next ...

I won't get the money back. Any experienced advice on my final message to the scammers if I decide to reply?

I am a reluctant member of this persons "victims club" she has just stung me for a thousand or two with continual failures to arrive at the airport. She is now near death with a broken back and a clot on the brain!! Of course the operation ids expensive $6 000, and can I pay it and thereby save her life.

This scammer is the most vicious I have ever encountered and I lost $16K in the experience. I was tricked into believing that I was paying for a surgery for the mother and honestly, being a lonely guy looking for a girl, I melted for this girl. I have been in constant phone contact with this scammer and they are continuing to say it is not a scam. I am playing along and trying to get the authorities involved, I just realized this was a scam over the last 48hrs. Please help me take this scammer out of business permanently. They are cruel and have no soul. We need to work together now. I have the phone numbers to everyone in the syndicate, so this can be a big catch for us all. Let's put this scammer where they belong, jail.

have been talking to this person for 3 months now and he said he was a engineer and he had to travel to london and then africa and now he stuck in africa because they took his passport and he wants me to send him money he is staying at a hotel and he does not have money or food to eat he ask me not to tell anybody about his trip. i think he is a scammer i checked the ip address and it's in lagos nigeria. he has been there for a month now and can't get back home to florida. when i first talk to him i ask for photos he sent me a 4 pictures that look like models he has a myspace page also. here are a few messages he sent meSent:

this guy is now going by coolguy2007(BPM),lukin4riteman(BPM),Searching4love 03(BPM),ineedlove01(singleparentmeet),searching4lo ve(DPM) and the list goes on. I have spoken to both parties in this case. The real person and the scammer. The funny thing is the scammer thought I did not know the differ. One person is clearly African and the other has a bristish accent. The scammer real name is Gaby Adewale he is using his friend's pictures, he goes by JAMES BROWN ROLAND. He claims his daughter's name is Marina Roland who again i have spoken to, her mother left her when she was only 8 months old and she needs a mummy for her dad. They have been trying evrything in the book to get money with no luck. I was sent a package I returned it to sender and asked him if he received it. He thinks he has my real address, NO I DON'T THINK SO!!!. I was scammed two plus years ago for $10k plus I would be damn if I'm scammed again. Hello all! I am new to this site. I have been communicating with Mr. Lowe; a consultant with Shell Oil UK for a few weeks. He contacted me from BlackPeopleMeet. He sent me the absolute longest, sweetest, most romantic email I'd ever received to date. He writes beautiful poetry and is very articulate. He is a 47 y.o. widow; wife died 3 years ago in a car crash, has 2 adult children in school, lives in London. He has not dated since the wife died. He had to travel to Nigeria; for the first time ever I might add; to do a presentation. Before he left a week ago, he sent me his address in London and where he is staying in Nigeria. Also, his mother had a heart attack but is now doing well after open heart surgery in London. He asked me to send him a shirt and tie scented with my perfume to Nigeria, along with a picture of me. I promised I would but never did (never believed in buying men gifts unless it was X-mas or birthday). So he is in Nigeria now, done with his presentation, he visited an orphanage and was so touched by the work being done there with the children, he pledge a donation on my behalf of $2000. He does not want me to use my own money (as if I would), so he is sending me $2000 and will give me instructions on how to send it to a Mrs. Sunday at the orphanage. He trusts me so much and knows I will do the right thing.

Well I am not a very trusting person to start and I have done much research: IP address, email, Google, etc. I cannot find his picture anywhere on any of the websites. So I figure this must be a fairly new picture so look out ladies.

This guy found me on Blackpeoplemeet.com. He's posing as biracial, but can pass for just about any ethnicity and is likely found on many dating sites. His story: he claims to be from and currently living in Manchester, UK and that his dad works for the World Health Organization (WHO). He says that he was raised in California but moved back to the UK with his dad after his parents divorced. Says he is trying to get back to the states, and will tell you he is making plans to do so and will be here in "less than a month." He says he's a lawyer and a businessman...never got a straight answer on his career, but he'll tell you he is a store manager (should have caught this too...lawyer turned store manager? right.)



This same scammer contacted me on Black People Meet. We emailed each other and sent instant messages via yahoo messenger for over a month. He sent me the EXACT same emails and poems that he sent to the other postee. He even went as far as to want me to open up a Wells Fargo Bank Account so that he could have his friend in California transfer some money into that account so that he could relocate to the United States. Of course, I NEVER did that!!! When I told him that I felt like he was trying to scam me and that I was going to report him, he said "I know you got information from Romance Scams!!! I had never been on Romance Scams until he mentioned it. He threatened to hunt me down and harm me and my family and he also said that he would hunt down the person that put his profile on this site!! I did in fact, report him to yahoo messenger for threats and abuse. I have learned a valuable lesson from online dating.
