Kenya pass Polygamy bill - These women look real mad

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today put pen to paper signing the Polygamy bill which was passed by parliament last month (March 2014) into law. The Marriage Act 2014 will allow Kenyan men to marry as many women as they please, and they will not have to consult their wives before doing it. - Source: Radiocity 97FM

it actually formalises what already exists... .and is actually a womans property right issue...

both in african animists traditions and under islamic tradtiosn multiple wives is acceptable...

if the Kenyans insits that one man one wife then this removes the rights of all the wives if they are in a polygamous union with a man..

in fact it is in the interest of women who share partners with other women that they formalise their rights to the mans resources!
