Jagger would not have anything to do with young Karis until after January 1979, when a court in Los Angeles ruled that he was the girl’s father and ordered him to pay $1,500-a-month child support. Karis, 44, is now a film producer in Los Angeles and is married to film director Jonathan Watson.
