Actually,
It's real and an evolutionary adaption. Seven years is roughly the time it took our paleolithic ancestors to mate and rise offspring to a sufficient enough age to increase the odds of survival. Beyond that time frame, our ancestors would seek other mates to start the cycle over again and insure genetic diversity in the given social group.

As far as me concern once yu start fi look 'it' elsewhere it dun, marrid or cohabitin'...afta 6-7 yrs & 1 child me seh 'not anedda pickney fi him fi go tie mi dung furda cos spirit cyaan tek him again...not di right chemistry afta all...
Still...it tek anedda six more years fi di man finally leave...dass afta dem get banish from di bedroom fi 6 months!!!
