Workplace hookups is very prevalent in my company. Matter of fact I would say 80% of the people have or have had a hookup within the company, and probably 10% married someone from the company.

This is much more prevalent at my current emplyer than the previous one. Maybe the fact that the average age of flight attendents is 25 and not 65 has something to do with it.

mi hear seh pilots and flight attendants notorios pon dat.

A soso &quot;hookup&quot; companys mi use to work fah. The one whey mi seh one big boss marrid him secretary, the women outnumbered the men by bout 5-1. and di woman dem did a sey one. We had a sportclub uptown wid pool and nice garden whey wi would keep games and afterwork jams pon fridays. it was like a sport fi see how much a dem yuh coulda guh chue. Mi memba mi mentor dere lived wid him common law, yet did a cut one pretty secretary upstairs.
So much so, FI HAR man got wind of it and come a di office fi confront him. She breed and di man a yard owned it. Only fi as the pickney grow, him grow fi fava mi bredren a work.
Suffice to say after nuff drama, they both broke up with them respective persons, and now togeteher wid bout 4 pickney under dem belt.

We had a scene from &quot;Catch Me If You Can&quot; the other day at Sydney. Di whole crew of 18 de a wait inna di hotel lobby and it's past our pickup time. One a di two captains is missing.
Next ting yuh know him appear from outta di elevator wid one tall Aussie gyal weh drape up on him an dem proceed fi kiss so til di skippa cap fall off. Right on fron a di whole crew. Aye sah!

If him a true gyaliss him neva woulda do dat in front a crew caw dats 14 dat him automatically cross offa di liss. &lt;kissteet&gt;

A soso legal secretary wuk dem place deh,.. Legal (ambitious) secretaries PLUS young aspiring/successfull/ trailblazing lawyers dangerous combinations.

Just heard yesterday that a coworker was canned because of a on the job hook-up.

Now why they fired one and not both is beyond me.

Because one of them had connections, that's why.

In the last couple of years we had two famous cases at work.

Well they have these very nice &quot;private suites&quot; in first class, but even thou dem private, dem is not very sound-proof.

So di first casualty of the suites was an low level HR team going to do some recruitment. Evidently, the recruitment required that they get to know each other better.
Official story, staff xxx on the flight.
Result: Both got canned.

Second instance was a very, very senior management person with his secretary. Halfway thru the long flight some other first class passengers complained of the noises and wall vibration coming from one of the suites.
Official story: They were 'working' and laughing...
Result: No profit share for 3 years.

Moral of the story...

If you're hooking up on the job, hook up with senior staff and not the mailroom clerk.
