And you know it don't have to be anything bad they were doing beforehand, one of my married friends was giving me the joke how when she and her husband just married, like the first week as newlyweds him pick up him bag and going out the door and she is like where you going? and he was like its thursday I am going to play ball with the guys as usual, and she was like this is our first week as a married couple why you don't want to stay with me! But what him care bout dat? It was thursday and that was his routine. Well I am sure alll dem years they dated and he was playing ball with the friends and going out with them it wasn't anything, but once the ring is on the finger all of a sudden you find you can pick a fight about something that didn't bother you before.

shi says that there were signs from before but she would always give him de benfit of the doubt when him give har him story dem..

an shi figured dat like how dem did married him was being serious and tekkin the relationship t the next level and would change and stop doing whatever he was doing.

Yep.. ppl think the ring and that likkle piece a paper is going to make things different.

Why would it? We've been saying for years that's why people should live together before marriage. But some people just don't get it.

They've been with that person forever, they know all their bad habits, they even suspect infidelity. Yet they still marry and then pick at the habits/behaviors that have been there all along.

What you see is what you get and just because you married it doesn't mean it's gonna change. I'm betting she suspected all along that he was cheating, but she only had the nuggets to follow thru and confront him after the ring was in place.
Did she think he'd act/react differently once they were legal??

React differently? I can't say. All the other times he must've lied or gave a good excuse/reason as to why tings looked a way and this time he pretty much admit it den turn it roun pon har.

She thought that whatever he was doing in the past would stop because dem mek tings 'official' now. I guess she figured that was him makin a step in the right direction. And maybe him figure say he could do whatever the hell he wanted now that he 'had' her.
