Men who say it's not theirs

I found it quite amusing when I told the story of the young man who said this woman was pregnant as the result of a one night stand. The reaction of my Mom and several boardites was "SURE " Same story when men claim the child is not theirs or when mothers and sisters claim the child is not their sons or their brothers.

How common is this kind of denial? It must be very common for all a onoo to have the same reaction.

I was told about and older relative who reacted the same when way when a woman told him she was pregnant. His mother God bless her said "Wha you mean? So what did gwan every Sunday when you did tidy and go ovah soh?" She forced him to face his responsibility. Sorry she wasn't alive by the time I came around. Sound like my kind of woman. As a result, the child grew up connected with the family and I met him a few months ago. He is an old man now but fit as a fiddle. Why don't more mothers see to it that their sons face their responsibilities as fathers? Why are some so ready to let them off the hook?

By the way. Here is a refresher on the use of a period.

Use a period [ . ] at the end of a sentence that makes a statement. There is no space between the last letter and the period. I think for many mothers it is a defensive stance plus there is the chance of a jacket. There are many layers to this as it also will depend on who the young lady is. I have seen some hilarious cases where man deny it is there child when the child looks nothing like the mother and everything like man. In one case it was drawn out in court because of the man's refusal to do the DNA. All this time the child grew and looked exactly like him. Final he had to do the DNA and it confirmed what everyone already knew...

I applaud this mother for taking this stance however I know some mothers who also want grandchildren...

Well the mother who took this stand already had a lot of grandchildren. She just felt she should do what was right. By the way we are talking about my great grandmother. She saw to it that her youngest son shouldered his responsibility. I never got to meet her but, when I was in Jamaica a few months ago, I was delighted to meet my older cousin 3 times. I spent quite a bit of time with him and his siblings from the marriage. He grew up connected with the family as the result of his grandmother's stand. We need more like her.

Of course, woman sleep around too much,and allowed any man to enter dem. Because it is in there nature to cheat , women can't be trusted period. They are so cruel that even though they knew of the consequences, and how high the risk is, they ignored all the red flags.

Wasnt there a statistic a few years back out of Jamaica that 30% of the claims against men for being the father proved to be negative on DNA testing ?
