"My marriage is over

If I don't get what I want for Christmas" said this woman who works here.

She has said it so much now that "we" are starting to believe her. What does she want? A new car! Why would anyone simplify their marriage to that extent?

According to co-workers, she is not alone.

Has anyone here ever heard or experienced such a thing?

Probably more to it than the purchase of a car.

He may have done something, and she wants the car to console her. Like how Kobe spent how many million on that ring for his wife...after that hotel room fiasco.

i have heard of ultimatums for wedding dates and engagement rings but not for a car... unless it a really give ar trouble


oh and for the ladies that gave the ultimatum 'ring by december or that's it' got their rings so I guess it works for some.

That is exactly what I said, but she swears everything else is good. What if he calls her bluff? I really don't think she has thought it through, as she is usually very random.

At least Kobe could afford it. I really don't think he husband can afford a new car in these uncertain times.

Well, I can't see that working. Anything done by force in that manner is bound to break. Can you imagine being set up like that? No way. I couldn't and wouldn't want that.

I've heard people joke about getting what they want for a gift or the marriage/relationship is over, but to put it out there as a serious demand??
