what would you do if.......


You were in a casual relationship.

Saw the other person every once in awhile.

But every time you saw them it was magical. (for you)

Over time you start to develop deeper feelings for them.

But you don't think it is reciprocated.

What would you do?

Dump him and FAST! You'll only get your heart broken if you don't. Tell him you never want to see him again and stick to it. Unless he crawls on broken glass naked and begs you to take him back, never speak to him again.

He has'nt done anything wrong. everything was straight up in the beginning.

You know I love you dearly Tanya and I hate to break it to you but, if it was reciprocated, you'd have known by now. Been there, done that. Don't even THINK of telling him how you feel either. He'll just string you along and use you to boost his ego. Believe you me, it's not worth the heartache.

But what if the casual relationship as it is just happens to be mutually satisfying.

I mean, when the two of you are together the conversations is so mentally stimulating. and you respect the person so much because of who and how they are.

Would you just could you just stifle the feelings and just maintain the friendship?

I couldn't.

My take on it is that if he was &quot;interested&quot; he would have let you know it. If he hasn't, he isn't interested. There is no way to &quot;change a guy's mind&quot;. Just cut your losses before you get hurt.

i'm under the impression that this is what we have here, but that one person &quot;wants more&quot; which is a recipe for disaster, tears, phone calls, stalking and eventual brake line cutting.

no just old enough to know that there can never be such a thing as &quot;friends with benefits&quot; unless (usually) the female party is a real studette or has very low self esteem. women just aren't wired that way. that's just my lowly opinion though.
