Report: Halle Berry Wants to Slash Ex-Boyfriend's Child Support
Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, is fighting her attempt to cut his child support by more than 400 percent, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
According to the court papers, Berry is trying to reduce Aubry's child support for their six-year-old daughter Nahla from $16,000 a month to around $3,800 a month.
Aubry, a model, claims a 2012 Thanksgiving Day fight with Berry's husband Olivier Martinez damaged his face so much that it took six months for him to heal enough to work. He alleges he's only gotten three jobs so far.
However, photos taken just six weeks after the fight show barely any sign of injury, according to the gossip website.
Berry alleges in documents that Aubry is a deadbeat who is using child support to avoid having to go to work, noting, "There's no case, no law no logic that says a healthy active man gets to simply live off child support that the wealthier mother earns."
Berry's lawyer, Steve Kolodny, claims in the documents that Aubry uses monthly child support for gyms, clothes, health insurance, car expenses, furniture and electronics.
Berry, 48, and Aubry, 39, split custody of their daughter and the actress is trying to convince the judge that he should get a job while Nahla's with her.
