i dont really think its rude. they probabley didnt even think about it....plus your his wife's fren not his fren....

maybe i am bias cus i would to the same thing. a few times me and mr have gone to his frens house to pick up something and i always stay in the car. he has mentioned to me that the wife is always asking why i dont come in to say hi...i dont really get this saying hi business...last time we went he came back in the car and told me the wife was offended and asked if i think i am too good for them....

really and truely they are his frends not my frens and he is going in eidda pick up or drop off a dvd i dont see the need for me to go and say hi....neways i am starting to rant

in that position i wouldn't have cared whether or not my friend's husband came to say anything to me at that time of nite., so yes from that pov i don't think it was rude.

Before you jump to conclusions about the man's manners, why not look at the series of events?

Maybe me need more info but me no see the reason for the hullaballoo. If there is an act of kindness done by any party, it should be done outta the kindness of them heart and nothing else.

As far as I see, there MUST BE MORE to this story to cause the upset.

If both went to them bed, then I won't say be upset, but why not respect the man's right to call it a night after a long day/night?

The topic starter didn't have a problem being communicated to, thru &quot;wifey&quot; the &quot;friend&quot;, then why in god's heavens, would she expect that man to come downstairs and bid farewell in him pyjamas?

There is obviously more to this, I say. Animosity is free but too much was received for this simple event. Why would this young man be expected to treat this particular babysitter any different from others? If the deal was between wifey (the friend) and her, why the uproar about the man making an appearance at MIDNIGHT?

Ohh puhleeze, with the Darwinism. The man probably showed more broughtupsy by staying upstairs than you'd ever imagine.

What I am prejudice against is people who perform a simple act of kindness for a &quot;friend&quot; and have to either expect special &quot;unrealistic&quot; butt kissing or have to broadcast to everybody when such kindness is rendered.
