I agree with you, however I still can't see where this man was not showing him gratitude.

Most couples speak thru each other, like how he told her to say thanks. What is so wrong with that?

Just like how someone's mother would say &quot;tell him/her me say thanks&quot;. Would the recipient of the message have a right to tear off them skin in anger just because the mother didn't make an appearance?

All to do about nothing. Some people is just too spoiled and own-way, and I still believe that the topic starter has a personal riff with the MAN of the house and keeping it out of the &quot;story&quot;.
