it wouldnt bother me that if there was a pic of my guy and his ex at his parents house. To me that means that his parents liked her and that they probably dated for a while for the parents to like her well enough to keep the picture up after they broke up.

My family has significant pictures of me with my ex like pictures with the kids when they were babies. My ex's family has pictures of me and the kids up as well but they are old and new. My ex's mom and I are still very close because of the kids so whenever i send her pics she puts them up on her picture board.

now if the guy i was dating had pics of his ex up in his house i wouldnt go for that if it wasnt some kind of once in a lifetime event or experience then i wouldnt like it all

i dont know exactly what i would do but i know i wouldnt like the situation at all

not really if it was one in a group of pics.

if it was a pic of dem skydiving or sitten like dat mi would look the other way but if a regula pic, dat nah work at all

I can see the picture coming down at him/her house; but the parents have the right to hang whatever and keep whatever they want on the walls of their house.

for the longest time I kept a picture of an Ex up at my house. the picture also had my best friend and her hubby in it.

I can't recall what made me take it down.....


One of my boyfriends every time we would go to his Dad's house his dad would take down boyfriends wedding picture I never realized until one day we dropped in unexpected, poor man was so flustered and tried to be discreet taking down the picture. I told him not to bother, the picture didnt upset me DaddyG RIP

I have clear rules on photographs.
But somethings clearly out of control.

Anywhere you turn it, it does mean something who ever have it on display. I would say it is a time thing and letting go.
The parents found her to be ideal and it could mean difficulties in winning their acceptance. On the other hand, some people na imply much meaning to things done and see no need for changes.

For him the relationship mean something and she is special. Reminds me of one who I was together with and we fell apart, 5yrs later me photo still in the room. It acted like a repellent

I would give it time in his case. I would wait until I think the relationship has reached that phase where the photos should be gone. They would have to go by will or force. Again, I think sometimes these things go unnoticed.

As for the parents it could get rather tricky. But you would have to get to know them good before you can size things up.
