Good Man/Good Woman

I have had men who are good in one thing or the other. We all know men who good in bed, good cook/housekeeper, good father, good public speaker, good athlete, good worker, good liar and the list goes on and on.

What me never had is a man who is good at more than one or two things...from jump street. He gets good, obviously from spending time with me and me the same and me assume this goes for most average folks who live outside of Hollywood.

That said, how can a man/woman say them good when you first meet them when them don't even know how good is defined by individuals?

Do they mean that them good to work on/develop? Me just wondering and would like to hear your take on it.

very interesting thought....personally I don't describe my self as "good". I may say I am good at something, but even that is subjective. I may think I am a good cook/housekeeper but if di man a compare mi to him madda I may fall short.

That is exactly what me mean. Me grandmother use to say what good for me is bad for you (when she used to get us to leave the room during adult conversation).

Don't it just make you laff when people like to talk bout them is a good man or good woman. Please, good for who?

I have given up trying to find a &quot;good woman&quot;. At least I have given up actively looking for one. I'm too stuck in my ways and I am not bending to accommodate anyone.

If the right one comes along then I will consider myself blessed but honestly, I doubt it will ever happen.

I'm middle aged and I'm happily single.
