now I would be lying if mi neva say u fi run cause mi personally could not deal wid dem (mi too independent minded so it cause nuff problems wid men from a culture where women are expected to be subservient )

Interesting point Kia. The thing is that often times the men who accept independent women are not that great either!

Interesting point Kia. The thing is that often times the men who accept independent women are not that great either! </div></div>

u need a match on your qualities, your views, your goals and dreams. once you find that you wont worry where he is from but moreso who he is.

I have seen this happen. Sometimes they need you for the papers. Once they're in the bag, they drop you like hot coals

Actually, I know a woman here who was married to a (famous) guy from Africa who already had a wife back there
Well, maybe not officially cos you cannot marry more than one person in this country.....

yes the stories are endless. I also had the opportunities of witnessing quite a few. But the best was I was sitting at an African cultural village and there was a Sudanese right besides me, he was flirting with one of the locals, hear him, I can cook, I know how to iron. And the more he kept pouring the more the woman was blushing, in the meanwhile he kept looking at me every now and then to make sure I wouldnt say anything
The woman gave him her number in the end. That was fuuunny

Then there was another story I told on the board long time ago about one West African guy with a girl from Slovakia just for sex. I found him cruel at the time and back then I said to myself I would like to see how this ends.

He had a fiance back home and was studying here. The girl here knew about it, he would go back home and even brought back the photos of him and his fiance. The way it turned out the Slovak was also using him, she is from a poor home and couldnt maintain herself while studying here. He had sponsorship for his studies and had work occasionally. So she even brought him home to meet her parents, him being honoured had her living with him and taking care of her. She got work as a secretary and getting rid of him was quite easy, she called him an N.....
His fiance back home also married another man. He now gives up on marriage and is with another Slovak
