i think it depends on the people and their ages. but from past observations i think as long as the man is older the chances of success are usually greater than if the male is younger since women mature sooner than men

I agree with this observation, also 15+ years I think also will influence the success of a marriage. Especially, if the man is the younger one. IMHO!

Personally, I would not marry someone that much younger. For maturity reasons on the male part, and yes I do believe that <span style="font-weight: bold">most</span> women are more mature than most men. Again, this is just my opinion.

Also, men are pretty visual beings and when she starts to age I think that he will be looking for something younger, men do this at a alarming rate when they marry someone their own age or younger.

Define large.

Me feel that any big gap (over 5 years) is a recipe for divorce.

Me wouldn't want a man much older than me because me is not into the Viagra thing and would prefer if we age gracefully together.

The only time large should enter the union is when the subject is organ.

YUP!

no really i mean that since women tend to mature faster or sooner than men then i think that usually if the woman is younger in years she is typically just as mature or wise as the man is at his age if he's older.

Example...I've seen a 35 year old man and 27 year old woman have a good relationship...no problem Now if you reverse that and have a 27 year old man and a 35 year old woman there might be some maturity issues

But everyone is different so i'm sure someone could show an example of a younger male with an older woman that worked out fine or where the woman was the immature one (rare but sure its possible ). I'm just sayin in MY observations it seems to work better if the male is older
