if u not happy maybe this is a chance for u to move on to a better situation...but it looks like if u transfer it's almost impossible for u to retain your current salary and benefits.

Girl...no amount a money nuh worth misery...that is if you are unhappy there.

Life is too short if allow backrah fi mek yours miserabe and if you do decide to move on, you not doing it because you are a coward or giving up it's because you don't have the desire to be around and work with small minded people, trust me it can tek a toll pon you.

I note where you said it does not bother you that they do not like you, but I think the harassment is getting to you. If you leave and go to another school will it affect your seniority, is it less salary all these things you have to take into consideration.

Can you file a grievance against them for harassment, I would stay put. Sometimes when peeps do not talk to you....you are better off. I think because you do not up with them it bothers them.

Dont leave unless you really and truly want to!! dont let them drive you out. Step pass them hostility lady then again I do not know what it is really like to work in a toxic environment. But I would not give them the satisfaction of driving me out....moi would take pleasure in waving goodbye to the one that have to leave

This experience is a sure sign that something better is in store for you, however,you won't get it if you don't <span style="font-weight: bold">keep it moving.</span> Girl, go get yours!!! Sometimes what seem like a bad thing is nothing but your blessings in disguise. All you need to do is keep your spirit up, look at it as an opportunity, keep your head high, smile intact and go and get yours.

Leave those zeros where they belong...behind you, and don't give a damn what anyone wants to call you. Who cares what them say anyway? You can't hear them cause you are too far gone! Godspeed!!

Being as how them so plain evil I would stay and let them bounce the evil people. When the evil them gone to another school then me step leaving them to scurry around and find someone else to teach my subjects.

Sound to me like what you teach they have difficulty finding teachers for this.....wonder if me right

I agree it is not worth it. Its one thing if all they did was not talk to you, that's fine, I always say you don't have to like me but you must respect me, they don't respect you, they don't appreciate you. Why spend most of your waking hours in that environment if you don't have to?

I worked at a place like that where they were doing everything to run off a core group of us, and when I was the last one standing cause I was thinking like what other say 'mi nah mek dem run mi off' I realized why am I doing this? Why am I holding on to a job that is toxic? A job where I had to psych myself up every morning to go to? Its obviously not my dream job or I would be happy!

So I found another job and took a s SALARY CUT yes you read that right. People might have thought that was crazy but you never know what God has in store for you. I took the cut, and 3 months after starting there they gave me a raise to MORE than I was making at the evil place! This is because I was able to shine at this place, no one was trying to undermine me and most of all I was happy there.

i've filed a grievance gense dem last school year (and won) which is why everytime dem have anyting fi say to me dem send how much email and seh mi fi contact union.

if mi stay in my jurisdiction mi will keep my same salary, but will have to teach whatever they have available (which mi nuh too mind), but is to find place wid a opening. if i jump jurisdictions...i take a cut and still have to teach whatever they need.

stormmey mi could care less daht dem love keep mi inna dem mouth a daytime, but wah mi nuh like is daht dem love fi undermine mi, try keep meeting (widout notify me that one gwine keep), question di pickney dem bout wah mi doing wid dem in class, &lt;----well dem stop daht deh practice after few parents cuss dem off, chat bout how much illegal ting mi muss be doing cah mi go carribean too much, mi could go on, but it is way too disturbing.

mi nuh like mixup...which is why mi do nuff tings by myself. mi go in di office, mi say good morning ahn mi keep going. mi teach mi classes, mi go bout mi business. cah mi nuh drink wid dem, ahn keep happy hour, or friend dem on facebook...dem nuh like daht.

the only reason mi even go in deh a daytime is fah di pickney dem. yes, dem act tawted sometime, but they really are my joy. seeing them have dem &quot;aha&quot; moment never get old fi mi. mi love mi interaction wid dem. can i get di ded ting at one next school. i am sure i could, but again...i need to find a school with an opening.
