<span style="font-weight: bold">Dear Doc</span>,
My vagina looks really weird. One side is bigger than the other and kind of longish, and it is much darker than everywhere else.
<span style="font-weight: bold">My boyfriend tells me that he has seen much more attractive ones, and he says that's part of the reason why he doesn't do oral sex with me. </span>
I have no other problem, except for the fact that it looks really ugly.
Am I normal?

She probably just has a prominent labia minora. If this is the problem it can be fixed by surgery. <span style="font-weight: bold">This is common and normal</span>. It is genetic, some women are just born that way. The surgery is cosmetic and requires local anesthetic to remove the extra skin and refashion the labia to make it look more conventional and less prominent.
