Well that was true till i suffered a set back. So I had to speak for my boss at a staff meeting, mi nuh know why him nuh stay a him yawd, and mi stand off to the side cause me did a fallow di odda people, well somebody did call in on di phone and in di middle of what I was saying dem say " I can't understand a word you are saying...." needless to say that threw me cause now I had to move to the front by the phone and start over.....sigh.....

yes, I am glad I did go thru with it although I found it truly nervewracking
It just isnt my cup of tea. One-on-one I can do quite well but big groups....

joining this organization will be beneficial in the longrun because each week the individual member must do a 60 second marketing presentation to the group. So it is help build your business through contacts but alos strengthen your public speaking muscle.

had my second meeting this morning and I did okay

I wasnt as nervous...well wasnt nervous atall.... and got what I needed out of my mouth and made eye contact

Next meeting is next week, so I am hoping that this public speaking thing becomes easier with time.

but it does give me the boost to speak about my work in a advertising/marketing capacity without vomiting
