partially insecurity and personal issues....

alot of these women have shunned the idea of having a family in their younger years so they can accomplish their goals and advance in their careers..

years later when the clock is almost done ticking..or stopped ticking altogether...

rather than risk getting hurt by some guy who would 9 out of 10 times turn out to be loser...they bring a child into the world and risk raising a child who may end up being hurt by the isms that come from single parenting and an anonymous father.

and tell me if this is not selfish?

unnu noh badda come nyam awff mi head or cast aspersions pan mi personality <-- jamaicans.com areas of specialty. but, i have to ask this:

does the woman have to be selfish, have a various host of issues and traumas to want to have a child through AI? what if she's secure financially and otherwise, yet chooses to do this as she wants another person there on her journey, but not within the strictures of the male/female pair model? she just wants a child period.

are women or men for that matter who choose to remain single and happily so flawed? sitt'n rang wid dem and nobaddy noh want dem? why are those always the *go to* position? must everyone follow the same path?

toadally agree with ya ss....hence my answer.

believe it or not....there are women out there who just haven't found the right guy...or aren't willing to settle...but they DO wish to have children before they dry up.

wouldn't be my choice...but i can understand the motivation...and don't see them as freaks by any means.
