it's not a myth, but it IS a generalization, on average black men are the largest, but as with anything else there are exceptions, Asian men (east asian) are the smallest, but again as with anything it does vary. they just released a study about it actually.

ANYWAY I don't know personally ANY white woman that hasn't been with a black man. not a one. I don't think it's just a sex thing, black people have always been loathed and admired by other races, they've always looked to us for what is cool, we've been emulated so often because of that factor, I think generally we are very attractive to other races in one way or another, even when the hatred comes in, it's generally a form of attraction, Repulsion isn't the opposite of attraction, apathy is. someone dedicates their lives to hating black people, they will feel hollow and empty if they ever lost that purpose. it's like a supervillain needs his superhero enemy you know? So I think there's an allure for several reasons, even without sexual desire or attraction, they wonder about us. what makes us the way we are and they really want to know.

but again I think the fascination goes deeper (no pun intended) than that. another generalization is the 'cool' factor of black people, here is the way we are. Black people are together, cool, and confident. they know what they want and take it. when you look at a man generally that;s an alpha male and we have what LOOKS to be a race of alpha males. even if we aren't we generally intimidate most white men just by coming into the room, so we're automatically cooler, more confident and we emasculate those other men, biologically from a primitive standpoint, this makes US the ones who get the pick of the women. so even if the scenario doesn't play out, the woman who saw her own man get intimidated by the mere presence of another man is drawn to him.

On the same token white women are many times intimidated by the confidence of that black woman, not in the same way as it's not a fear of a lack of femininity, but the sexuality of that confidence that we as black people generally exude with our rhythm. we show that rhythm in many things we do, even just a walk. even if we don't feel it, there are people that see it and we may not feel the most confident, but those who are less so than us elevate us to a place we may not even know we exist.

I have to be honest, there have been times when I entered a room and felt like the room was mine, most of those times it's because the majority of people in there were white and I felt like I was the alpha male when I arrived.

A good current example is Obama vs McCain. Obama made McCain appear to be a feeble old man, no one recognized him as a leader as Obama's demeanour demanded that the attn went to him. now again this is a generalization but this is how 'we are' it's an attractive quality that sometimes is way off the mark from the reality, but it's something we carry.

aiiieeee, that all kinda sounds like some ruff neck Mandingo stereotype None of that sits well in my spirit at all. Just saying. Cause what is allegdly attractive is based on preconceived ideas of how a black man or woman stays. Being pigeoned hold always makes me cringe and I certainly dont see it as a compliment....


As for the bamboo thing....if u deal with averages then maybe God does favour black men, but then if you deal with averages the opposite has held true

yeah I understand, but you have to look at the primitive reasons for attraction as they do still exist within us. we are animals and have evolved (most of us) past the point of only being drawn to aggression and such, but the allure of it still exists in us somewhere. you know the saying Men want to be him and women want to be with him? it's a primitive level of biology, we won't erase it but as an evolved species we can recognize what it is and take it for it's worth. Most times we do but I think we've all succumb to primitive urges and looked back and shook our heads at ourselves at one point or another.

with knowledge we rise above the baseness and with wisdom we grow to need and accept something with more value. but we'll always have some animalistic urges be it sexual, hunger, flight or fight, thirst, it's what drives the species on to survive.

Unfortunately as black people we carry with us ALL black people, Souljah boy represents me though I hate it, when people see him and then meet me, they think they can relate to me through their exposure to him. It's not a responsibility we asked for but it's something we're stuck with, until we represent ourselves better En Masse.

As a white woman, it's not so much that I am INTO black men. They are an option, just like any man.

The part about white men? Not all white men stay away from women who've &quot;gone black&quot;.

But I know for some it IS a racist thing for others I think it is the fear of not being able to &quot;measure up&quot; ~ so to speak.

Most men I know could care less. If they like a woman, then they like her. It doesn't matter who came before him.

And the myth is just that. A myth. I have been researching this subject for many years.
