The Portmore police in St Catherine are searching for a man who is alleged to have sexually molested several women in the Braeton community.
The police told THE STAR that the man's alleged mode of operation and why he would carry out such actions has left them baffled.
His strange habits have also left one woman traumatised. The woman reported the matter on Sunday to stunned police officers.
THE STAR was told that the female turned up at the station sweating profusely. She reported that she was at home about 3 a.m. when she felt a hand under her night dress. The hand, she alleged, began to wander. <span style="font-weight: bold">She, however, was not immediately alarmed as she believed it was her husband</span>.

Her hopes were soon dashed, however, when she got up and saw her husband sleeping soundly on the matrimonial bed. By the time she pieced together what had happened, the pervert ran from the window.
The distraught woman, the police were told, screamed and woke her husband up. She then related her ordeal to him and he ran from the house in search of the man.
He was not able to catch the offender, <span style="font-weight: bold">but he met with three other men from the same community who were all in search of the elusive pervert who had also molested their companions</span>.
A senior police officer at the Portmore Police station told THE STAR that the matter, though seemingly comical, was being investigated seriously.
