Don’t shoot me .. these are quotes from an article in Essence Magazine from black males ages 29 –35 on why they date outside their race.

I find that most of these comments are not just shallow but seem to be debasing to white women. As a black woman I don’t feel offended. I end up feeling sorry for the guys on how misguided they are

The colour of the person people are more attracted to, tend to have some relationship to the first impression they get from their first primary care giver.

If that person was loving and kind, they tend towards subconscious attraction to the colour of there face.
later in life.
If they were not so loving the opposite tend to be the case. it tell a lot about the person than they realize.

This is why I felt more sympathy for the guy in the interview than find what they are saying offensive. Something is amiss when I hear people talk like that.

Well you know attraction is not love.
Attraction is subconscious reaction to a primitive need to socialize.
It tend to gravitate to comfort.
It is like the toddler and blanket syndrome.

some people are attracted to people that they cannot logically justify their decision.

The article caught my attention ...it was a female editor asking question of 4 “eligible” black men who claim to date both black/white females. Dem soun “<span style="text-decoration: underline">ineligible” </span>if yuh ask mi

One of the question posed was - “Why as a black man do you date outside your race?”

I can't get into the entire article but after I read all 3 pages of it I got the sense that these black men have a very stereotypical ugly view if black women. I have to wonder if they don’t have sisters and other relatives who are themselves black women and if is really so dem tink low of them.
