now since dem forcing me...I have to take 2 week off at the end of the year...i just asked my manager about coverage and he suggested i cover myself ( as he will be doing when he goes around the same). Ah wanda if im realise seh laptop and access is required fe certain tings and I'm not planning to bring my work laptop with me on holiday

me realise seh its the end of the year and most people will be taking time off..but (as much as I love my job) that's nuts...

I think the company need to revisit this policy cause its not suitable fe all job functions..

if my employer requires me to be accessible during my vacation then there would have to be time in lieu or additional compensation.

My personal feeling is the only person who should be "on call" during dem vacay is the OWNER of the business.

but if yu goh mention dese tings you may be out di door as this now seems to be the expectaion of the corporate world

i just realise the first part of my post is missing..

since outstanding vacation time is considered a liability the company is forcing everyone to take their vacation during the given year...an dem harass we fe schedule vacation for the entire year from the start of the year..when I take thea day off here and there during the year I usuall cover myself..normally I would not take 2 weeks off during the holidays..but since I have to take the time off...I'm outta here sans laptop

and if I actually have to full out work due to some emergency my boss usually does suggest I take some other day off..which I never do..

and yes I'm gonna a bring it up as an "issue" dem won't fire me fe dis..mebbe other things..but not this..
