Do you have any friends or family that <span style="text-decoration: line-through">force their mate</span> try to incorporate their partner into a conversation or a setting?

I called a friend of mine to wish her happy Holidays and the next thing I know, I'm having a very stilted and slightly uncomfortable conversation with her new boyfriend... who I've never met in my life Ending the call and transitioning back to her was one of the most awkward segueways of the year!

lord I have a former friend who ALWAYS had to bring her loser boyfriend with her to EVERYTHING. Mi plan a girls night in dinner thing an invite her an di fuss ting shi ask Can I bring Joe?

Yes, well one did try do it wid me. This gyal tell mi seh &quot;RC, we are going to _____'s baby shower&quot;. Mi seh, baby shower bout what ? A wishawt yuh eva hear seh yard man a go ah noh baby shower. Well, big argument..but mi stan mi grung an seh certain tings a ooman bizniz, plus, why should I be forcing miself up into everyting weh yuh doing ?

This guy and others like him need to man up.

My granpere used to do that with me when I speak to him, always bringing my Mom into conversation when he knows we never used to speak for years.

So Skelly my question is do you get along with your Dad? if not maybe that's why your mom bring his name into the converstion she trying to make peace with you and your Dad.

I used to suffer through it with my granpere cause he will dole out the cash to me, never wanted to alienate him and cause I worship him

One exfriend when she bring her man name into our convo is click she get fore me tell her I wish to hear nutin bout har ugly loser man man a physically assault yu and your excuse is he have temper, but he loves me
