So I have this Gran Aunt that I really care for the rest of the family think she is a bit daft.

Little background, years ago her husband cheated on her with the Nanny (who is also a cousin) that she imported from Sweden (my maternal family is Swedish) anyway, her husband was having an affair with the Nanny right there in the home, said nanny got preggo for him and Gran Aunt never know is his baby until my granmere said to her this baby looks like your husband. she (gran aunt) also says she never picked up on signs that they were having affair.

She continued living like that with Nanny, husband baby, husband and her 2 kids. Family cuss her and told her she plain stupid until he eventually left, divorced her and and married Nanny. Now all this happened before I was born but is a gran aunt that I really and truly love, she has a heart of gold and would see good in a psycopath. My Mom says she just fool.

All through the years she help out the ex-husband financially after her left her because he just didn't make any progress him just wutless and she said she didn't want his kids with nanny to want for anything. Gran Aunt is bout 66 now and husband is bout 70 now. He is now very sickly, wife left him last year and go live with eldest daughter she says stress of looking after him is too much for her.

My Gran Aunt want to take in this man (he has a heart condition) netime yu si him he is always blue or have some oxygen contraption he takes around with him. She has decided to bring him into her home to look after him and is not as if he is grateful.....he constantly puts her down. The last time I was around her with him and he was putting her down I asked him if he wanted me to put a match to his oxygen tank....brite.

I told her straight up she should forget about his trifling ole a.z.z.considering what he did to her many moons ago, she said it is not the christian thing to do \0/ The rest of the family don't deal with her as they say she have self esteem isssues after that man disrespected her many years ago and she still have him on some pedestial.

Now, am I wrong in thinking the way I do or should I just turn a blind eye, meaning just deal with her and fogetbout that man, cause I just cannot be nice to him. He acts as if the world owes him a living.

deal wid granaunt and doan give mr feelsehimentitled the time of day.

take granaunt out as much as possibe and help her find a womans group so she can get away from him and she see the light and move de man to one home fi people like him

This is a matter of the heart & is a sad story but I agree with the above . turn a blind eye . Its not even worth the energy.
No outsider Family or otherwise know truly goes on inside a marriage Or what karma we each bring into this life?

who knows your Gran Aunt might feel indebted to him because of how she treated HIM in a previous life or she may just be his earth bound Guardian Angel. what does any of us really know?

But at 66 she's also in a different mindframe... she's all about forgetting self, and doing for others (service). She may not feel that there's very much else out there for her, so why not earn some extra Christian points? It should eat this guy up, if he had a conscience!

She looks very good for her age, always at the hairdresser, manicure, pedicure, body scrub/mositure treatment. I don't know what her problem is, he looks like her grandfather honestly me personally know younger men that lusting after my Aunt.

I saw them in the mall a short time ago today and he is there huffing and puffing with his oxygen contraption and is usual self talking down to her. I keep my trap shut these days because I just felt like push him down. He even tells her he will slap her, I have to laugh because he cannot even/barely shuffle his legs.

Dang is what that, it certainly aint love...you care fo someone like that.

u said it, at her age, she is just doing the right thing, and leaving him dutty ways to God!

that's probably why im so rude to har. guilt and humiliation. she probably knows this, too.
