so from reading the "non-negotiable" thread, i find that "doing things" is a must.
question: how much things you can do in this just and great society that doesn't call for a bag of money? just free things. the last concert i went to cost $300 for two people.
i really can't justify that money. there are clubs where you "pay what you can" but the liquor is pushed pretty hard.
how do you "do things" without spending a lot of money?

Cruisin galleries and museums for more "cultured" peeple. Watching free "streaming videos", and Rockford files reruns on the computer...old black and white classics. Taking in the ceremonial dancing at the pueblo (about 5 a year). Sweat lodges. Free concerts at the plaza on every thursday all summer. Car shows, craft fairs, etc. Quite a few people here get by with very little. They have to.

I used to go to shows all the time, and they would have about 4 groups no more than $50.00 per person.
I would do a comedy show more so than a musical one.
I can't think of anything besides staying at home for free when it's cold outside.
Are you also retired?
it's pretty cold here. with slush, dog poo snow and fierce winds. well, yesterday we were going to a matinee. took one step outside and said "ain't goin' nowhere"
