not stealing my idea but broke a partnership agreement that was pending. I was ambivelent about getting into it and after the person and I had many sit down conversations about it I decided okay I will go with it.
However, I like to cross my t's and dot my i's, so some of the stickier points of merging my business into hers, I wanted and requested a lawyer to work out these details. We were both to close to the situation and this would make it a more neutral resolution.
Well this did proceed etc. and I start re-arranging and re-structuring my business/life for this impending agreement. Planned my next two years of business and ultimately my life based on this as well.
then in a "moment of reflection" over the holidays the other person wanted to pull out because this was taking too long in their opinion. But I wasnt going to throw my financial security to the wind for someone else's pride...long story.
Sooooo, I had a major headache this morning when I realized I have to completely revamp my business plan in a very short space of time and all the contingent issues that comes with this. And it put into jepoardy plans I had set in motion for this year (personal ones)
I happeened to be on the phone with someone and they asked what was wrong so I explained what happened. And lo and behold, because of that conversation I can still proceed with my plan - albeit in a better form
should have went with my first instinct which caused me to humm and haa in the beginning before I decided to proceed with it.Comment

Some times we have to humm and ahhmm through business decisions. Just make sure your strategy, all the foreseen and pending issues and potential jeopardies are realized before you go jump in. You seem to be a very detailed person and that's good.Comment

yup, life can throw some serious curve balls but it is up to us to catch the ball and fling it back But lord as my witness, my head felt like exploding this morning 
but ppl move out and then <span style="font-weight: bold">in</span> to your life for good reasons.

Exactly and as much as others want to bop me on the head for being detailed orientated, it serves me well in the end. Since this person was also friend, I wanted to make sure that we took emotion out of the equation and have a lawyer settle some sticking points. But sometimes another looks at that approach as an affront......
so I am glad humm-ed and haa-ed cause now it has saved me a lot of possible grief
