COUSINS SEX ACT SPLITS FAMILY - Underage teen bears child
Police in Manchester are now investigating a case in which two underage teenage cousins conceived a child, resulting in a once-united family being split into two factions.
Information reaching THE STAR is that the saga began from as early as 2008 when both relatives, a teenage boy and girl, both 15 years old at that time, became sexually involved. Some six months later, it was discovered that the female relative was pregnant, a revelation that reportedly shocked her family and the community at large.
The matter became hot on the lips of many residents, all of whom were taken aback by the soap-opera-like nature of the situation.
A source close to the family, who contacted this newspaper, disclosed that after the jaw-dropping revelation the female told family members that she had been raped. This was when all hell broke loose among the blood relatives.
The rift is now so severe in the family that, according to the source, some members have stopped speaking with each other completely.

THE STAR was told that the matter was even reported to the police and the young man accused of raping his cousin was arrested. The female cousin gave birth to the child in March 2009.
When contacted, a rather reluctant senior officer from the Mandeville Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse would not say much.
The policewoman, however, noted that they were investigating such a matter. She would not go into any further details, stating only that: "The information that you have is the same information I have. We are carrying out some investigations, we don't know how far that is going to take us."
The lawwoman said, however, that she had no knowledge of anyone being arrested in the matter as yet.
