Reports of a Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt split are "totally false," according to People.com, which quotes a source saying, "everything is fine."
News of the World earlier reported that the unmarried celebrity couple had met with California divorce lawyers to work out financial arrangements and strike a deal on how to share custody of their six children.
The couple have three adopted children, Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, and Zahara, 5, and their natural children Shiloh, 3, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 months.
It's was reported that they will live with Jolie fulltime.
"The paperwork is already organized for a breakup - and for it to be as unmessy for them as possible," the paper reported Sunday.
But People.com on Sunday insisted that sources tell them the couple's five-year relationship is not on the brink of a bustup and life is as normal as it gets for the wealthy superstars.
Meanwhile, Canadian journalist Ian Halperin, on his website ianundercover.com, wrote Sunday that a close buddy of Pitt's confirmed that the heart-throb actor has been planning to bolt from the relationship for about six months.
"Brad is miserable and wants a new start," the friend, a Hollywood industry veteran, told IUC. "He's looked miserable and exhausted the past couple of years because he can't handle Angie's explosive personality and self-destructive ways.
"I love Brad and am in his corner all the way. I feel so bad for him because Angie put him through the ringer. I can confirm that his relationship with Angie is over."
Bumpshack.com says that a Brangelina rep flatly denied a breakup, calling the reports "total BS" and refused further comment.Comment
