Well har husban say im waa meet har people dem. She bruck dun an tell im bout de pickney dem. Him left so now she had was to follow throo an go si dem. Is like she was already committed to that path.

But, if im neva didda persist in meeting har relative, she ooda neva have told him bout de pickney dem.

it isnt that I dont see anything wrong with it I just dont understand why u think *she* is to blame for so much.

they rejected her. they didnt search for her either. they wrote her off but yet it is on her that their lives are as such? She is losing so much again and I think she will lose more if she lets them back into her life.

she will continue to be used. I do not believe from what u have said, that the children left behind or the previous man have her best interest at heart. They see a meal ticket nuttin more. And if that is the basis of re-establishing the relationships, I am sorry, it is simply not worth it.

Yeah I do think she should share the blame for what her children have become and how they're living.

Yes I think she should've made more of an effort to get them.

And now I think that she's lied to her daughter about being an only child that she should now rectify the situation by enabling contact.

I don't think she's a weak woman. If she had the strength to stay away, go abroad illegally, work until she's legit, build a life with another and bear a child, then she should have the strength to lay the ground rules of any contact that would come from her children and grandchildren in Jamaica.

Yeah her life in America is kinda in turmoil right now, and she's prolly working on getting her husband back (don't really know about that part), but now that the lie of her children is exposed, she should do the honourable thing and forge some kind of relationship.

They may want the relationship to be defined by what they can get from her materially and if that's all they're about, then at least if she cuts them off in the future she'll have a more just cause.

But there are little ones in the mix now. She can do a world of good by her grandchildren and I think she should. They shouldn't have to suffer for the sins of their parents.
