One of the stars of the popular VH1 reality show, For The Love of Ray J, yesterday announced on television that she and Jamaican Olympic star, Usain Bolt, are a couple.
The woman, Taneish Simpson, was a cast member of the dating show's second season, but was eliminated on episode three. The show is centred around actor and singer Ray J's search for love and features him living in a house with a group of women who vie for his attention and ultimately his heart. Ray J is the brother of singer Brandy.
Simpson, 24, was named Lava on the show and is originally from Portland, but now lives in Florida. Various Internet sources list her occupations as a model and make-up artist.

mi juss wondering why she (taneish) had to come pan national tv to state that they are now dating/couple and that HE googled her
she nuh believe that some things should remain private ? den again she was on a reality show suh no, a guess nothing nuh private.Comment

CW: How long have you two been together?
ME: Almost six year.
CW: How did you first meet Usain? Are there any romantic stories you can share?
ME: (Laughs) I was just walking and met him.
CW: How does Usain train in Jamaica? Could you describe for us a typical day for him?
ME: Well, he gets up, has breakfast first and then goes to the gym to train for a few hours. Then he comes back home and gets some rest, plays video games and then goes back again to train in the afternoon. He usually comes home around 3pm. I think that's the typical day for him.
CW: What video games does he like to play?
ME: He likes to play football games.
CW: Like FIFA and Winning Eleven?
ME: Yeah. He has a Play Station 3.
CW: Are there any female fans around your boyfriend?
ME: No (smiles).
CW: Have you talked with your boyfriend about how some Chinese girls are very fond of him?
ME: No (smiles). You know, everyone is going to come in and want him a hug, but I am cool with it. It's OK.
CW: Will you miss Beijing a little after you leave for Jamaica?
ME: Yes, I will beause I love the language here. The language is really interesting. I sometimes mimic them just for fun (smiles). I love it.
CW: How do you like the environment here in Beijing?
ME: The environment is GREAT.
CW: The Olympic venues, the Bird's Nest, the Water Cube?
ME: They are REALLY great, REALLY great. I loved them.
CW: One last question: What's next for you and Usain... marriage?
ME: HaHaHa! No time, no time. Let's just see what the future holds.
