Tell me what you think about this. There's a 40+ y/old lady who has been celibate for about 12 years. For the last 10 of those years, (up till now), she's been in a relationship with a man. They do not live in the same town, but they believe they are spulmates/ meant for each other/ know each other very very well etc.

What think?

Neither of your those is true. She believes they are both intended for each other, but on a mission to get closer to God and become what HE wants them to be before they join together.

Are you like me and think it might be possible for her, but impossible for the man?

you're right, priests do take a vow of celibacy and they seem to be able to do it, barring trips to the convent and

But how sexist is it to think that women have an easier time of it! Anyway, aside from the religious part of it, what do you think about being in a relationship for so long?

She says they're able to talk about any and everything, but she hasnt directly asked if he's remaining pure She assumes he has been and will be until they set off fireworks on their wedding night!!
