So Pamela is visiting with her sister Jean in Detroit. They do not have any relatives in the state. Just Pamela's sister in law Carmen.
Carmen has 3 children. 1 daughter and 2 sons. Her kids are all grown and married. Rumor has it that her daughter Ann was dumped by her husband for a much younger and attractive woman of a different race. There was also talk of Ann moving back to her mom's house but everything was kept hush hush.
Pam tried for weeks to get Carmen on the phone but her calls went unreturned. She asked her estranged husband and he said that Carmen was staying in Texas with her younger son.
Anyway, Pam has recently separated from her husband and everyone knew about it.
One day she was out with her sister and spotted Ann, Carmen's daughter driving Carmen's vehicle. It was unusual as Ann was living in FL and it was not a holiday. They follow them to the parking lot in Target.
Jean gets out of the vehicle to approach Ann but sees Carmen coming out of the back. Carmen's grandson was in the front passenger side and Ann was in the driver's seat.
So Jean greets Carmen and gets an awkward hello. She telld her to hold on because her sister was still in the car. She locks up the car and when she returns, Carmen's vehicle was gone.
What would you make of this?
Do you think Pam was snubbed because Ann wanted to keep her visit secret or that they want nothing to do with her since she separated from their brother/uncle?
