So is it really just as bad or even worse than physically cheating?


How do you distinguish the lines between a really good friend who you just enjoy talking to about personal aspects of your life versus someone who you actually fancy but neither of you are willing to cross those boundaries?

<span style="color: #FF0000">Someone you enjoy talking to abt personal aspects in yoru life is classified as a regular friend. You usually do not hide that person and your friendship/relationship is open. Your spouse is usually aware of 90% of your relationship.

An Emotional attachment is one which your spouse knows abt 1% abt, probably a name and that's it. You will hide and text the person, you look fwd to hearing from this person, you can almost feel yourself escape your regular life and then you start drawing comparisons between the EA and your spouse.

you enjoy spending time with the ER than u do your spouse

you lie abt seeing/talking or conceal it (not mentioning it is included)

and if yuh end up rooks yuh EA that is a sure sign seh yuh crass di boundaries</span>

I finally got to see <span style="font-style: italic">Why Did I get Married Too</span> and that was one of the issues that came up in the movie and it prompted me to ask this because many married/committed folks can fall into the &quot;trap&quot; of an emotional affair and not even recognize it.

That's why when we get caught cheating the first thing out of our mouths is the standard line <span style="font-weight: bold">&quot;but honey she doesn't mean anything to me&quot;</span> as if that is going to somehow make things better.
