so mi have a good good good girlfren. we used to be batty an bench back in the day then we grew up and she had a baby and moved back to her home country (6 hours away from here)

we don't talk often but when we do it is like we last spoke yesterday...yu know dem kinda fren deh.

so anyhow toward the end of 2009 she got back together with an ex-boyfren. real level headed Jamaican man. only "problem" wid him why dem did bruck up before was because he is a very focused bredren and when they were dating he was working full time and going to school fulltime at the same time.

so fast forward 10+ years later them a try a ting again. but now it is a LDR.


so mi buck him up Friday, him a do a ting down di road from mi office.

Dis mawnin on him way in him stop fi seh howdy an di man stawt tell mi some tings bout him relationship wid mi fren.

From wah him a seh, is like him do everyting in him power (within reason) fi mek di relationship work, but my fren juss a fight gainst the progress. SMDH

Har madda sick, an she is the only one of the sibling a tek care a har. Dem sen har come here (Calgary) fi treatment dat noh available which pawt dem live soh him seh, why don't you an mommy an yu son, juss come live wid mi?

Personally mi feel shi a paint him wid same brush as the past men in her life especially har baby fadda.

Di man have a profession.

pursuing a nex one.

Tek care a him parents and sista.

goh church pan a regular.

focused and ambitious.

no bag a baby madda or other baggage.

Him a look smaddy fi settle down wid, married to an mek a nice life wid.


Unless him a tump har dung an mi noh hear bout ie mi noh know any reason shi coulda have fi noh want him.

In the past she has complained about their differences of opinion in how she was raising her son (wrt disciple) but me did agree wid him..becaw shi spwile di pickney bad bad bad.

Leave it alone. You don't know what they are like together and why she is saying no to his offers. In the nicest way I know how Tanya, I'm going to suggest that this is none of your business

If I were in your situation, I would also discourage this guy from talking to me. I would tell him up front that he needs to discuss these things with your friend and not with you.
