Boy oh boy - mi say dem man deh is all de same - and is only a pity that women don't recognize the signs early and run like hell...
I think women who get caught up in these situations mistake his possessiveness at the beginning for love "he loves me so much that's why he;s so protective" - and for strength...
I do pray for your cousin that she will go through with leaving him - often they plan to and then when the man find out they try and sweet talk them into staying and then the cycle starts over again.
No one should have to live like that - I can only imagine her despair and frustration and that feeling of being trapped that she feels every day.
Is only a pity she nuh have some brothers who can ride over there and show him what it feel like to have somebody beat him

Speaking of Cousins Skelly mi have wan who mi actually call mi bredda cause wi wre raised together as brother and sister. He was suppose to be married next mont and Decemba gaan mi an mi Aunt canvince fi noh get ina noh marriage til im check imself.
Him fiancé call us Chrismus marning a bawl sey im verbally abuse her ..an mi can assure sey verbal abuse can lead to di physical wan
Mi sarry mi had to step in and mi beg mi Aunt fi talk to im causae mi si too much traces of anger in him that I do not like. Eida im get some counseling fi im anger or lef dat girl alone. Wi neva talk to her directly cause our responsibility was to get mi cousin in check since ima family. Di wedding POSTPONE fi now. Sometimes wi havi confront dem an mek dem know wrag is wrang.
But mi hear yuh when yuh sey yuh fraid im retaliate.... so dat is tough call Jus havi pray sey shi get the strent fi move on and maybe ..just maybe her actions would mek im look within and shape up.

Bwoy Vegas mi nah blame the victim them cause the abuser no have no right fi abuse them. It is hard though when you get close to the situation and see that they need to leave and the struggle they go through to move. If it gets to the stage where they have control of their minds it is even worst ...
Dealing with a case right now that the woman fraid fi be on the road. My sis was following her to one of the appts that she had and it was like a likkle pickney that never leave her house yet. It is so sad.
