Confused re: The Bachelorette (Question for the Men)

This question is <span style="font-weight: bold">JUST</span> for the men....only for the men...seen?

I'm confused. On dating sites and at singles events, the overhwelming majority of White men, most of the Asian men and even a few of the Black men are clamouring after an Ali. (Ali is the latest bachelorette.) Based on what men write in thier profiles, Ali is just about the total package....bright, attractive, bubbly personality, not stuck up, BLONDE...



Grant it, her boobs aren't as big as what most of the guys say they want....

Other than that, she supposedly has it all. When the guys arrived for the 1st episode their eyes were as big as saucers when they saw her. They all seemed ga-ga over her. I remember thinking...well that settles it. She's set for life.

Then how do you account for this?

First she gets played by Justin Rego who seemed <span style="font-weight: bold">SO</span> crazy about her that he alked for miles on crutches to be with her.

If that isn't an indication that a guy is nuts about someone, what is? <span style="font-weight: bold">It noh mek NO sense.</span> She fell for it. I would have too. Turns out, it was just an act. Just curious men, would you have spotted him as a player. Is &quot;trying too hards&quot; an indication of player behaviour. Clearly the men didn't like him or think he was sincere from day 1.

He was never interested in Ali and had not one but TWO women back home in Toronto. I missed the episode. Thank heavens for Youtube.

Tonight she gets dumped by Frank who has been pining away about her all season. Again, he really seemed like he was into her and she got fooled. Turns out he's going to dump her tonight for a rather plain looking woman who btw is not blonde.

So wha' mek? Onoo confused or what? trace: Why do some men say they want one thing and when it's handed to them on a platter, it's STILL not enough?

Why the games? Why the drama?

Finally, if the players can give such convincing performances, how does one really spot the players early in the game.

Inquiring minds want to know.

I watch the show and based on what you said men are saying about Ali is based on what they are seeing on the show. Yes I do think she seems down to earth far more than some other women mi si on the show. I know she doesn’t win points with you because of her hair color – but put that aside for a minute – they are making an inference based on how she is on the show.

OK ..now di odda side. That’s just TV – that’s why you see so much “actors” like Justin aand Frank – TV – a way from them to get a little lime light in most cases. Pityful and dishonest, but Tropi you have to admit all taht drama is good TV. An mi sure yuh enjoy it to di max. No shame in dat.

Then again, you and I know that wether Ali is the “total package” and a bag a chips going to come down to how she is off camera when whoever she picks as her suitor has to have a real day to day relationship with her. She may or may not past that test – right?

Let’s say she passes that test and she is in fact a great lady to be with. Would you still object to her partner giving her credit as such?

If she doesn’t past that test - all what ago happen is dat di man dem who did a drool ova her will not feel the same and Ali to them becomes history. In both cases mi noh tink yuh ago loose noh sleep ova it – at least I think so - right?

Actually, I do like her. She is not stuck up. She is bright, fun, down to earth. I can't for the LIFE of me understand why the men are treating her so badly.

For the record (and I have said it before) I also like Peggy Lipton and Cybil Sheppard (now that they have stopped rooksin around :lol...actually I always liked Peggy Lipton and I liked Cybil Sheppard before I found out she was rooksin around. I give HUGE props to Heidi Klum. Totally down to earth and not stuck up. She married Seal even though he has a scar on his face. HUGE props to that girl. She clearly is not superficial.

I also like Nanook (though she does beat me up when mi lick out gainst stuck up blondes, she has set me straight about a couple of things. Notice me noh lickout so often.)

Anyway, mek me keep reading what you wrote.

Okay no I'm not going to lose any sleep over it but it's worth discussing. I am assuming she is as she appears. The reason this question is important is that life does imitate art. We can all think of players and so many times they are hard to spot.

What is there not to understand? I broke it down for them and included video footage.

I didn’t get from the post that you liked her.. but nevertheless that’s good to know.

If your question is about why men play games and women fall for it… bway mi noh know if anybody yahsoh ago have a single and definitive answer for that. As you said life does imitate art so similar to other people's experience in real life – Ali is bound to encounter a few game players and one and two genuine suitors. There is really not too much that surprises me here.

Wendy mi kno all about the Justin and Frank scenario weeks now as Peoples magazine spilled it.
The show is so edited and the producers only show what they want us to see
we have not seen 99% of what takes place on these shows

Justin went on th show with the intention of promoting himslef and his career

the producres have to do a show that can get people to watch so they bring in all kinds of men to spice things up.

the guy had his 'tv show' persona, and his separate &quot;real life&quot; off the show. nothing confusing about it - it's all an act. it's a TV SHOW figadssake, not real life.


what i find the funniest is that anyone actually falls for this crap, or believes that any of what happens on these shows is anywhere near &quot;real&quot;

most of it is phony pretentious &quot;created&quot; drama - it's all about ratings &amp; money. i would bet my house that most - maybe not all, but many - of the participants are there more to get fame/notoriety, &amp; have their faces become known by being on a tv show.... and that none of it has anything to do with any kinda &quot;real&quot; emotions or true relationships. some of them are just out-of-work actors who will take anything they can get, just to get themselves 'out there' in the public eye.

using these tv shows as some kind of basis to examine the true dynamics of 'real' relationships is nonsensical -

but they're not in the designated 'test group' as it has been defined. - gay men are not in no position to enter into a query bout how straight men think, and/or treat women as they do.
