The reason I ask is sometimes I am absolutely shocked at the guys who will try to make a move (e.g. guys MUCH younger, guys much older, married guys). To me it means that they have tried this type of thing before and they have been successful. If they were never successful these brazen and clumsy attempts would cease.

Am I right?

men play the numbers......meaning the more attempts they make, even if is not a ting dem want the better the chance of scoring.

its like the lotto, you only need one ticket to win but if you play 10 your odds are better.

My experience is That of attempts of being seduced than me doing the seduction.
one young lady about the age of my daughter was visibly shocked on hearing my age.
Her jaw literslly dropped.

I usually ignore them but my wife usually get disturbed at the lack if respect ehrnshe is Presbyterian.
I think women door for different reasons like a bigger tip or discount andat times trying to get free care.

I personally have no experience doing it.

Is that a high enough return on investment for the behaviour to persist? I was thinking the reason that these jokers persist in their clumsy efforts is that they are having success with this approach. I would think it would have to be a fairly high rate of success to be worthwhile.

My impression is seducing when it's not appropriate (e.g. hitting on other women when married, hitting on women young enough to be your daughter, hitting on women old enough to be your mother, hitting on business colleauges even though you're married, etc.).

I'm not going to claim any knowledge or experience one way or another but...

Usually, a woman who is going to give you some has probably made up her mind before you got the first word out. Your move is either going to raise or lower the chances of actual closure.

Sometimes the women may actually get turned off by a super-smooth approach, because it seems too polished. The woman starts to second guess her previous YES may turn to NO because she may feel like just another mark on his belt. This means if the man reads her right, it is sometimes better to put on the Clark Kent routine, especially if you picked up that you are already in anyway... Besides awkwardness if you pull it off right gets more conversation mileage than a plain &quot;hello&quot;.

There are other women who want to see a man come over as confident and in control of the situation, so if you pick up that vibe - the awkward, clumsy routine may be a poor choice. Better to go with Mr Just-Above-Ordinary, because again coming across as too seasoned may be a turn off.

Of course, there are the women who are closet adventurers who are looking for a naked-sex-while-skydiving-over-the-vatican kind of experience (but might not know it yet), so for those you just have to make it up as you go along...

Then again, I have no clue, just have an active imagination I guess...
