the PH inside the vagina has changed which means she is more likely to react harshly to what ever foreign bodies he may tag along with him or what ever is "on" the condom which she cd otherwise fight off but for her period not being on.
The "period" itself is not just blood but also waste matter if sex is done without a condom during that time he may get an infection.
Many ppl say it is healthy but in reality it really is an unnecessary gamble.Comment

The article does mention that a woman is more receptive to viruses(HIV), but I've never read that the man is prone to infection as a result. From 9th grade bio class, the 'waste' is the lone, mergeless ovum.Comment
