To speak or not to speak

My friend from home is throwing a little party tonight; Immediate celebration is in order based on a court case. I knew she was planning to and I could clearly hear the background noise.

During this festive occasion, the new man she's dating is apparently going through her cell phone. He just called me and pretended to be someone else. I called him out by name and he admitted that was who he was. I told him caller Id doesn't leave much room for doubt these days.

Should I tell her or let it go? Under normal circumstances, there would be no question but she is a kind of irrational biya. I lean towards ignoring it.

most people will of course say yes to that question.

my question : do you think it will change anything (with regard to her relationship with the guy) if u do tell her? Would it prompt her to break up with him? or will she probably just ask him....he will come up with some sort of lame response and that will be the end of it?

yeah but then u tulip done involved and in the end all the drama for nothing....

eta : i learn about them tings from seeing nuff drama in real life ....the informer usually become the whipping boy/girl and the couple live happily or unhappily ever after

i wd hve to say something but that's me. I cannot keep things inside like that i wd say &quot;why is xxxx calling me and pretending to be someone else&quot; mek she run wid it.

see that is something some of my guy friends would do, take mi phone and call or txt people but it is usually as a joke and done in front of me.

I have nothing to hide so if dem want to go through my phone is dem one a get dem feelings hurt.

Yes, I would definitely want to be told.

We have a standing agreement though. If she ever catches my man cheating, then she will tell me. If I ever catch her man cheating, then I will not tell her because she does not want to know.

She and I don't think the same way at all.

If I decide to speak up, it will be strictly just to let her know. What she chooses to do or not do with the information is strictly up to her.

Based on knowing her, I don't think it will change anything though. She might even view what I consider a distrustful invasion of privacy as an indication of how much he cares.

He's a singer and was out of town for two weeks. (Now, if you ask me, he was not out of town but that's could be a whole different thread.)

I may casually mention that his speaking voice doesn't sound like his singing voice.

I think he was just going through the list of her most recent calls to see who she had been talking to. Turned out I am actually a woman and not a man. I wonder what he would have said if I had someone else catch my cell phone.

I know his family and there was a little inbreeding to keep their complexion in the family so he may be a little crazy anyway.

What he may not know is that her new cell phone does not have unlimited minutes so if he keeps it up, then there will be a problem when she gets her next bill.
